Rosé wine from S.P.A. winery

Made from biodynamic Demeter Pinot Noir grapes, grown in the heart of the Tüllinger Hill, Basel, Switzerland. After a two-hour maceration period, the grapes are gently pressed using our wooden basket presses. The wine is then fermented with a pied de cuve and natural yeasts from the vineyard.

S.P.A is a Demeter-certified winery located in the heart of Basel, right on the banks of the Rhine. They make wine an experience and make it accessible – a community of people dedicated to a craft-driven and honest approach to wine. Natural, spontaneous, unfiltered.
The name S.P.A. for the winery as a place, the team and the wine produced there, stands for the german term “sehr pragmatischer Ansatz" which means "very pragmatic approach” Fittingly, the name itself was chosen pragmatically, after the team couldn’t settle on another option. In 2023 during a dinner at Café Gupi, I had the pleasure of meeting lovely Kat Fischer – co-founder of S.P.A. wines. Read more in my worldmaking story. 💜
