S.P.A. White 23, handpicked Blanc de Noirs

This S.P.A. White 23 is a handpicked Blanc de Noirs made from Demeter-certified Pinot Noir grapes, grown in the heart of Tüllinger Hill. Gently whole-cluster pressed with wooden basket presses, with only one interruption during the pressing process. Fermented with a pied de cuve and natural vineyard yeasts, and partially aged on the gross lees until mid-December.

S.P.A is a Demeter-certified winery located in the heart of Basel, right on the banks of the Rhine. They make wine an experience and make it accessible – a community of people dedicated to a craft-driven and honest approach to wine. Natural, spontaneous, unfiltered.
The name S.P.A. for the winery as a place, the team and the wine produced there, stands for the german term “sehr pragmatischer Ansatz" which means "very pragmatic approach” Fittingly, the name itself was chosen pragmatically, after the team couldn’t settle on another option.
